September 17, 2024
The Common Sense Media Awards is our annual national fundraiser that honors the leaders, creators, innovators, and storytellers who support and inspire kids. The awards support our groundbreaking research, trusted media reviews, award-winning curriculum, and powerful advocacy that allows us to continue to be the leading resource for families, caregivers, educators, policymakers, and tech leaders.
Held annually for the past 20 years, the awards rotate between San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and New York City. Past award recipients and presenters have included President Bill Clinton, Mindy Kaling, Sal Khan, Disney's Black Panther, Sesame Workshop, Mayor Mike Bloomberg, George Lucas, Geoffrey Canada, Dr. Vivek Murthy, Amy Poehler's Smart Girls, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and many other distinguished individuals.
