Remember It is Still in Development...

The game was inspired by other games out on the market. Most people will think this is an upgraded "Pokemon" knockoff. It is not. It was inspired and influenced by Pokemon as well as other genres (base building, resource gathering). Keep in mind the game is in "early release" so content may change. Likely expanded features and quality of life will come next. However, one thing that I was surprised by is some of the language used. So far it is PG with d**n, h*ll, and b*st**d seen so far (within the first 10 minutes of play). When a character misses a catch or the creature escapes the ball, you get a random dialogue which one of those is vulgar. NPCs use some of the language too. No way to turn or filter this off yet. Could easily be done if they creators add a "language filter" toggle or something. Otherwise no blood as others have reported or gore.

Don’t listen to negative reviews (they’re all twitter bots)

First off, everyone that says this game uses “Pokémon-like” characters is wrong. The game uses creatures that have been inspired by real life culture like the Egyptian god, Anubis. As for the rest, they have been created from imagination and inspiration, how many ways can you make a cartoon wolf? The game brings to the table what everyone has always wanted from Pokémon and has never got due to repetitive game making and lack of imagination for new features. Real Pokémon fans love Palworld, and for those that claim it’s brutal, they clearly haven’t played. There is no blood or gore, and it has survival mechanics like a hunting game or base building game. Play Minecraft? Well palworld isn’t any more violent than that. You defend your base and pals, and you go hunting for food for them as well. Whether that’s from hunting wild pals, or foraging berries, or in extreme cases, your excess pals. The survival mechanics are very similar to Minecraft so if you like that, pokemon, or any other modern day game, then palworld is for you. I hope to see you all on the Islands!

Worst experience I've ever had

The game is fun if u enjoy, lagging random fire damage in the lava region, unbeatable bosses that run all over and having all ur work burned down by raids no matter wat u do, who am I kidding this game is garbage absolutely horrible. I played built up for a few days was all fine my house is made of wood which btw ur stuck using for 80% of the game before getting metal. Anyway I was happy with it but then a certain raid came and it destroyed everything I worked for I thought no big deal spent 5 hours rebuilding then another raid hits and everything I just finished rebuilding got BURNT DOWN AGAIN LITERALLY RIGHT AS IM DONE. the game not only pulls this BS but we died in the lava zone an lost bags in and under the map all the time. Died from random fire damage anytime u get within like 20 foot of lava falls don't gotta touch them. And constant crashing terrible game horrible development and really horrible mechanics for base's
