omg soo good succeeded all of my expectations

i remember sitting in the theater watching the trailer thinking "dude this is gonna be so good." i was nervous because i had such high expectations but it exceeded them. the intro scene was spectacular; i still haven't stopped thinking about it. the characters are really attracting, making me remember the ones that even had really little parts. i really like the cast as well. the story is a little slow in the middle, but the scenes with the tornadoes are suspenseful and memorable. i really liked those scenes. (ngl i cried as well). there isn't gore, just violence of course, with people getting sucked into tornadoes, and the main character gets sliced with a piece of flying debris which is kinda bloody. there's not very noticeable cussing but i did remember a few light words. ngl this movie was awesome and i definitely recommend and am already planning for a rewatch!

Lots of Violence But REALLY GOOD

I went to see this movie with my sister and I loved it. I never watched the original film so I was excited to try something new. I thought this was going to be a movie that was directed mainly towards men and tornadoes with not much else going on, but I am so glad that I was wrong. The main character was a strong female character with two male co-stars. But one thing that you have to look out for in the movie is that there is lots of violence and some gore. In the beginning of the movie, a character watches two of her friends and her boyfriend being sucked up by a tornado while they are tornado-chasing, with her and another friend being the only ones that survived in the area. She gets a bad cut on her leg and screams in pain and you can see the scar from the cut throughout the movie. She then goes back to tornado-chasing after five years of the incident. There are lots of tornados, deaths, near-deaths, and blood. If your child gets scared easily, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE MOVIE. But the movie is not all violence. There are some sentimental and bittersweet parts of a movie. There is a enemies to friends scenario. There is next to no sexual content, the only thing is a couple short and sweet kisses in the beginning of the movie. You'd expect two characters to become love interests but they do not although they do seem to have a romantic interest in each other. I like how the movie is not focused in one group of people are good and one is bad because they are all bad or evil in their own way. To wrap it all up, good female role, some violence, death and gore, but one of the best movie I have ever seen other than the Lion King.

Action Packed Tornado Movie

This was by far the best movie I’ve seen so far this year! Super action packed and full of deep characters. Small romance side plot that didn’t take away from the main story was fun and added a little comedic relief to a movie that started off really dark. Injuries shown and multiple people die but you just see them fly off. A little shown about the after affects of tornadoes is really sad. There is a couple mild curse words (a** ect). Still, highly recommend to teens and adults!

Surprisingly an excellent movie!

Really great movie! There are many deaths, many of which are sad, but there is little to no graphic violence. Super exciting and just the right amount of scary!

Studio disaster feature is a great new film

I haven’t watched the original Twister, but this film has an interesting story. It will definitely be scarier for younger children, scenes include people, animals, cars flying off into the tornado and large scale destruction. The protagonists have a love for meteorology, but a significant number of scenes lack scientific realism. Overall, great film, parents with young children beware that your kid might have a hard time sleeping tonight.

Soo good! Highly recommend!

This is a great movie! It’s fun and full of appropriate action. It’s very interesting but not quite educational. I would say a pretty firmly planted 10 year old could really enjoy it. Nothing to object able for the family. However for the more sensitive it may be a bit scary. Watching people be blown so quickly away may be a little distressing. I also would not recommend this movie for kids who may be a little wary of storms. If I had watched this movie when I was 8 I might not have left my basement agin. But that might just be me. I would definitely recommend this movie just think about how your family members may react before inviting them all over for movie night.🍿

Twister styled natural disaster film, scary, thrilling, and heartwarming

Great movie! Improved CGI from the first, and great acting from Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glenn Powell, and Anthony Ramos! Thematic scenes, after all, they are surviving ef-5s all day! Definitely had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Some blood, and many people are blown away by the tornadoes, **SPOILERS** the opening scene features the deaths of four team members. Great movie, recommend for mature 11 year olds on up!

Best. Movie. Ever.

This movie was AMAZING. I was a little skeptical that the trailer would be better than the actual movie, but everything about this movie exceeded my expectations. Not much gore, other than a little blood in the opening scene. It does include multiple characters getting sucked into a tornado (obviously, it’s a tornado movie), and not much cursing, other than where it’s appropriate (ex. SPOILER: the main character cursing in the center of the tornado). Overall, one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. If you’re deciding whether or not to watch this, here’s your sign. Watch it right now

Twisters spun around my expectations of it.

I never thought I see the day where I would be invested in the twister world but here we are. Twisters is a very good disaster movie that manages to fix the problems with the original film like a very rushed story and some characters that are hard to really get invested with , and really made the positives more affective like with the tornado scenes , and when heavy things are introduced to the other characters. Even if it was based on a franchise I wasn’t a big fan of in the past , that didn’t stop me from really having a lot of fun with this movie. 9/10
