Up there with the first two alien movies

Insane visuals and cinematography, great score and acting especially from the two leads. Ending was wild (some might say a bit too crazy and over the top) and had my theatre gasping at a reveal, pure nightmare fuel. A couple INSANE set pieces involving zero gravity in the final act. However, there is one creative decision that I didn't really like which involves bringing back a character from an earlier movie with a mix of CGI and AI and it's really noticeable whenever they're on screen. There is also some stiff dialogue and a couple lines from previous movies that are repeated word for word, which I was personally fine with but I know some other people weren't. Content wise, this movie is pretty gory. if you've seen Alien Covenant, it's probably on the same level if not a little more. *SPOILERS AHEAD* Someone gets burnt to death by acid, people are speared through the chest and the face by the xenomorph and there is a chest burster scene with quite a bit of blood. However, the most disturbing moment is where someone gives birth to an alien/human hybrid at the end of the movie. While there is no nudity, there is a ton of blood and screaming. They are later killed by the hybrid mostly offscreen. Language is on the same level as the other alien movies and there is no sex. Overall, if you are a fan of the first two Alien movies, you'll most likely enjoy the references and return to form in Alien Romulus. This one is definitely up there with the first two.

Surprisingly Good!

One of the best alien movies. Blood and gore wasn’t too bad. Has an R rating for a reason! Swears and gore. Wasn’t too bad compared to Alien 3. Would recommend. Might be too scary for some 13-15 teenagers. I’m 13 and can not be scared by it

Great, bloody alien film.

Alien: Romulus is a great, bloody, and mature film. Can't wait for the sequel! My rating: Rated R for strong bloody violence, disturbing images and language.

I would suggest seeing this movie!

This move was amazing! It was one of my top ten movies this year! Although bloody and a few jump scares I would say it’s suitable for 12+. But go with a parent just in case

Great movie but too intense for young viewers

It’s a Sci-Fi horror movie that reminds me of the old Alien movie from 1979. But this movie is violent, disgusting and gory. It’s too violent and intense for young veiwers.

LOVED IT.

I've always been a huge fan of the Alien movies, but this exceeded my expectations. It goes along perfectly with the plot of all the other Alien movies. I loved this so much that I want to see it again. GORE/VIOLENCE: Not that bad. Although there can be a lot of blood. If you can't handle the gore from the first Alien movie, you obviously shouldn't watch this one. A robot was ripped in half, but he remains intact. Aliens come out of several people. There are plenty of facehuggers (the things that attach themselves to your face). I guess you would know that from the trailer though. ROMANCE/NUDITY: This movie barely has any romance or nudity. It is implied that two characters used to be in a relationship. That's pretty much it. PROFANITY/SWEARING: "balls" "sh*t" "Christ" (I can't remember any others) OTHER STUFF: There are plenty of emotional parts in the film. A robot is beat up by three children at the beginning of the movie, but he doesn't get seriously injured. There was a debilitating jumpscare in the last 10 or 15 minutes that made me spill my drink (I'm still mad about that lol). There are scenes with xenomorphs (the aliens) and some other creature (I don't want to spoil it). Overall, one of the best movies I've seen this year. I can't wait to see it again.

The movie Is extremely good. I would recommend if you’re 12 years old to have an adult with you if you’re under 12 I wouldn’t recommend this movie for you because it has some disturbing scenes and a little bit of violence
