Justin Time GO!
Parent and Kid Reviews
Based on 3 parent reviews
What's the Story?
JUSTIN TIME GO! is all about a regular kid who's happy, outgoing, and loves to play. He also has a very active imagination, using it to create an amazing world complete with supportive friends: Olive, a little girl, and Squidgy, a cute yellow blob. In every episode, Justin travels to a faraway place to discover the world around him. He and his friends sometimes run into trouble but work together to get out of the situation. Each episode ends with Justin ultimately getting called home by his parents and returning to reality.
Is It Any Good?
This animated show is visually appealing and involves stories that are engaging and entertaining, with some light social and science lessons tucked into the fun. The power of imagination comes through clearly as Justin creates a rich would around him including characters who are supportive of him and make his world a better place. The things he learns in his imaginary world often help him in real life, such as learning how to politely negotiate with a scooter-stealing neighbor kid. Justin Time GO! is a pleasant and fun series, especially for kids who love using their own imaginations.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about the places that Justin goes and the things he encounters in Justin Time GO!. Why do you think his parents never go on adventures with Justin? Do you think they should? If the parents went on the adventures, would Justin still be in charge, or would he let his parents take over in the discovery?
Kids: Have you ever had an imaginary friend? Where did you go with your friend? What did you do with them? Where would you like to see Justin go next time?
How do the characters in Justin Time GO! demonstrate teamwork? Why is this an important character strength?
