About Sage Kahn

As a child, Sage carried a book with her wherever she went. Her passion for storytelling led her to pursue studies in media literacy and film production at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Throughout her career, Sage has worked with a diverse array of nonprofit, governmental, and educational organizations, helping them tell their own stories. Notably, she previously served as Assistant Director at Berkeley Community Media, Creative Director for Humanized Productions, and Director of Video Production at Common Sense Media. She's happy to continue her work with Common Sense as a reviewer, helping families make informed choices. While Sage still carries a book with her wherever she goes, she's transitioned from telling other's stories to crafting her own, writing speculative fiction for young readers.
