What’s It About?
In SUPER FOWLST 2, a chicken is about to enjoy her lunch when she's attacked by a ... is that an alien cyclops bat? No idea. Whatever it is, though, it ruined her sandwich, so she's going to ruin him, er, it, and all of its friends by flying into them and blowing them up and then taking all of their gold coins.
Is It Any Good?
While they may seem nice, and are definitely tasty, this old-school arcade game shows that chickens ain't nothing to mess with. In Super Fowlst 2, a chicken who's about to enjoy a nice sandwich is attacked by a cyclops bat thing. This. Means. War. Which you win by flying into your enemies or blowing them up with explosives, clearing out each level as you go. To do this, you simple tap on the left side of the screen to fly upward and to the left, and on the right side to do the same in the opposite direction. The more you tap, the higher you fly, and the more you can explore this Super Mario Bros.-looking world.
Of course, as anyone who's ever seen a chicken fly will tell you, they're not the most accurate of pilots. Especially when they're hungry. And this can be a problem when one of the flying meatball people start shooting at you. But this just adds to the challenge, and the fun, of this old-school game. Now, admittedly, not everyone will appreciate this game's vintage vibe, and others will find the chicken's inexact flying to be more frustrating than fun. Plus, it gets tough -- like, real tough. But if you're up for the challenge, and are no chicken, Super Fowlst 2 is a fun way of getting revenge for RUINING THAT SANDWICH!!
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about spending money. How do you decide when to spend money on a free game? Is it based on what the game offers, how much fun you're having with the game, or some other reason?
While Super Fowlst 2 has occasional ads, it also offers an ad-free version for $3.99. Why do you think they do this? What does including ads in a game like this do? Have you wondered why they don't just make the game cost $3.99?
