What's the Story?
THE TINY CHEF SHOW takes viewers into a tiny kitchen where tiny dishes are made by Tiny Chef. The funny Tiny Chef invites the audience into his tree stump kitchen, where he's accompanied by his assistant cook, Olly; helper, Henry the snail; and pet, Ruby the caterpillar. The show's segments include "Dish of the Day," where Tiny Chef and Henry announce which vegetarian dish will be made, "What's in My Bag," when Henry shares the ingredients needed for the dish along with fun facts, and "Dish with Chef," when Tiny Chef interviews a celebrity. Tiny Chef wants to share his love of cooking with all children, and keeps a smile on his face despite some mishaps in the kitchen.
Is It Any Good?
This sweet, funny, clever series has all the ingredients of a great watch: an engaging flow, entertaining characters, and educational nuggets. The themes of culinary tips, friendship, and problem solving are presented in a helpful, understandable way for young audiences. The Tiny Chef Show will likely inspire children to want to get in the kitchen and make yummy dishes, big or small. Tiny Chef's catchphrase is "Love you so much, bye!" and viewers will certainly want to watch week after week, as he is so lovable and fun.
