Is It Any Good?
X CONSTRUCTION is a no-frills but fun way to learn about the physics behind bridge construction. When players are done connecting concrete girders using the touch screen, they press the Go button to watch a train go over the bridge to see how the bridge holds up. Girders turn red if they're under stress and can snap, so by watching the simulation players can pinpoint their bridge's weak points and adjust the design with a few quick taps. The game would benefit from more levels (there are 15 in the paid version, plus seven sandbox levels with unlimited girders), and more variety of building materials, but it's still very fun and educational.
