Inside Out 2

Overall good and entertaining movie. Worth noting it does talk about puberty, but thankfully more in a general sense verses a detailed account. Conceptually more for older kids. There is a brief scene in the locker room where one of the girls seems to be wearing either a sports bra or belly shirt. But thankfully overall a funny, clean movie about navigating new emotions, good and bad decisions, learning from them, and developing an honest sense of self.

Great film, my tween daughter said it was very accurate on what she is experiencing lately. My 8yo son wanted us to rate it a 9+ as he said some of it was confusing or a bit upsetting, and he didn’t feel like he would relate to it until he was a bit older. I think that’s probably accurate. Really clearly shows how anxiety drives the need to fit in for tweens and teens, the necessity to accept all parts of ourselves and the value of being authentic. Made me remember that time in my own life, while overlaying a new clarity of understanding that I think will help me support my kids better through their own adolescence. Highly recommend.

We all know how Disney had been going down, movies suck, but this is not this. In all my years watching movies, this is the Mona Lisa of Disney, and movies. Absolutely insane, the message, the comedy, and the plot. The thought of Anxiety taking over and stressing Riley to a breaking point is amazing. The comedy was amazing, they had a character making fun of Dora in a good way. Angers character development is absolutely phenomenal, he used to be a rage head, now by the end of this movie, he has an actual real personality. Speaking of rage head, the joy snapping seen is insane, you can see how bad this is. The ending was exquisitely amazing, anxiety even questioning, afterward is just… I have no words, even I cried, I haven’t cried to a movie in years. Riley really felt… real; She really had a way of expressing what a teenager feels, she wants to fit in, having Anxiety about every decision, not being yourself… but then learning to be who you are, sometimes it won’t work out, but that’s life for you, no one is perfect, but at the same time, they are perfect in their own way. Everything about this is amazing, I conclude my review.

I think this was a great movie to help kids discover emotions, and to realize that emotions don’t have to drive you!

describe this movie in 3 words? beautiful. real. human. This movie is a completely accurate representation of 13 year old me. You’re lonely, anxious, envious. the only thing you want in the world is to BE someone, and being the ‘cool kid’ seems like the best option at the time; it just seems like they have it all; the friends, the life, the joy. There’s never a harder time to just ‘be yourself’, and that’s what everyone is always telling you, but you’re barely over the kid mark, you don’t know who that is, or how to figure it out. This movie was so touching, I feel everyone can pull their own things out of it. for me, it was acceptance in who you are, the good, the bad, you’re human, and that’s ok. you can’t be one or the other, and you can’t make yourself be. you can’t hide from who you are, either. I loved how they represented anxiety, and had joy say she’d just tell her to ‘stop worrying so much’ that’s what everyone tells you. it’s what my parents told me. but it’s not that simple, and this movie really SHOWS that. it’s such a scary, unsure time, and you have no idea how to navigate it. we need more movies like this. if you have a teen, this movie really has the ability to make you feel understood, and less alone, because we’re all turbulent during those ages. susceptible to peer pressure, and envy, anxiety. and it’s all just part of the process. it’s normal. we are, teens are. I recommend this to every tween, teen, and older. it’s fine for younger kids as well. I laughed multiple times, and found it very quirky and fun.

We all really liked this movie ages 5+. Nothing overly scary for littles and dealing with real situations/ issues of growing up. The characters are endearing and the ending leaves you feeling happy… or should I say full of Joy. Definitely a great family movie.

This is an amazing film! The only thing is that young kids might not understand the story behind the movie and that Riley is going through puberty. So this film would be suitable for kids aged 10 and up. But Beautiful film!

This is one of the worst sequels I have ever seen Pixar needs to step this up this is just sad they could’ve made this movie way better this movie just makes me hate the new characters that they introduced I’m never watching this movie again what happened Pixar…

This highly anticipated movie was so boring and we were all disappointed .
